Public Comment Requested on Proposed Flat Rent and Ceiling Rent Schedules for Public Housing

The Housing Authority of the City of Austin (HACA) is requesting public comment on our proposed flat rent and ceiling rent schedules for all public housing units. If approved by the HACA Board of Commissioners, the new schedules would go into effect on January 1, 2018.

HACA will receive written comments regarding the proposed changes during a 30-day public comment period beginning on October 4, 2017 through November 3, 2017. All written comments are to be mailed or hand delivered to the following address:

The HACA Board of Commissioners will vote on the adoption of the proposed schedules on Thursday, November 16, 2017 at 12:00 pm at the HACA Central Administration building located at 1124 S IH 35, Austin, TX 78704.
