During the month of February, schools, churches, libraries, book-stores, community and professional organizations participate in an event to make literacy a significant part of Black History Month. Therefore, the Youth Educational Success Manager, Felisa Epps is hosting an African American Read-In. The purpose is to bring together co-workers to share books that feature professional African American writers.

It’s an event that is open to all and was started to create a bigger audience for African American authors.
