A Day with DAD will be an outreach event that will encourage father/father figures to spend time with their children. 

This event will be a video game tournament and a basketball tournament. There will also be a bounce house and free hot dogs and drinks given away to residents.

Dads will be encouraged to be present for children to participate in the events. 

The games played in the tournament will be family friendly (FIFA Soccer & Madden Football). 

In between each round of the video game tournament, ACC’s Digital Media and Design department will give 10 minute presentations to children and adults about the opportunities to design video games. 

This will encourage children to see the benefits of education and expose them to opportunities in these fields. 

This event is being hosted by the IDADS and former graduates will be serving as the volunteers.  

Food and incentives will be provided.
