(formerly Austin Academy)
GED, Financial Service Training and Workplace Competency Training at two
Austin locations.
Monday-Friday 8-5; Orientation Thursdays 8:30 a.m.

Austin Community College
On-site GED classes.
Boys and Girls Clubs of the Capital
Area
Provides drug prevention and after-school recreation programs for youth.
Membership is $1 per year for HACA youth. Contact site for meeting dates
and times.
Location: Chalmers Courts and Thurmond Heights
Boy Scouts of the Capital Area
Provides weekly troop meetings at Santa Rita Courts, Georgian Manor, and
Booker T. Washington.
Communities in Schools
The Smart Kids Program provides after school tutoring and enrichment activities.
Tuesdays and Thursdays 3-6 p.m.

Family Eldercare provides services such as needs assessment, service coordination, case management, educational seminars, benefits counseling, volunteer opportunities as well as recreation and socialization activities at each of the four Elderly/Disabled properties.
Girl Scouts of Central Texas
Provides weekly troop meetings at Santa Rita Courts, Georgian Manor, Booker
T. Washington, Rosewood Courts, Coronado Hills, Northgate, Shadowbend, and
Thurmond Heights.
Mainspring Schools
Provides full-time childcare at HACA-owned building adjacent to Meadowbrook.
Gives preference to HACA children.
