Parenting Classes
Location: Rotates to Booker T. Washington, Bouldin Oaks, Georgian Manor, Santa Rita, Chalmers Courts, Rosewood, Meadowbrook, and Thurmond Heights

Ascend Center for Learning (formerly Austin Academy)
GED, Financial Service Training and Workplace Competency Training at two Austin locations.
Monday-Friday 8-5; Orientation Thursdays 8:30 a.m.
Location: Georgian Manor

Austin Community College
On-site GED classes; ESL and Adult Basic Education.

Boys and Girls Clubs of the Capital Area
Provides drug prevention and after-school recreation programs for youth. Membership is $1 per year for HACA youth. Contact site for meeting dates and times.
Location: Chalmers Courts and Thurmond Heights

Boy Scouts of the Capital Area
Provides weekly troop meetings at Santa Rita Courts, and Georgian Manor.

Communities in Schools
The Smart Kids Program provides after school tutoring and enrichment activities.
2 Days per week from 3-6 pm
Location: Booker T. Washington, Santa Rita, Bouldin Oaks,and Meadowbrook.

Family Eldercare

Family Eldercare provides services such as needs assessment, service coordination, case management, educational seminars, benefits counseling, volunteer opportunities as well as recreation and socialization activities at each of the four Elderly/Disabled properties.

Girl Scouts of Central Texas
Provides an opportunity of a lifetime and open to all girls, grades K-12. Girl Scouts prepares girls to meet the challenges of tomorrow's society. During troop meetings, the girls may play games, cook, make crafts, do STEM activities, learn life skills, and sell cookies. Girl Scouts of Central Texas serves HACA youth from Georgian Manor, Santa Rita, Shadowbend, Manchaca Village, Booker T. Washington, Rosewood, and Northgate.

Goodwill Industries of Central Texas

Mainspring Schools
Provides full-time childcare at HACA-owned building adjacent to Meadowbrook. Gives preference to HACA children.

Skillpoint Alliance
Provides computer literacy training and workforce development training.

Wright House Wellness Center
HIV Awareness/Testing
Location: Booker T. Washington Terraces
