MEDIA ALERT: HACA’S 15th ANNUAL SENIOR MAYFEST
A Celebration of Older Americans

WHAT:AUSTIN, TX-Today, the Housing Authority of the City of Austin is hosting the 15th Annual Senior Mayfest to celebrate the great presence of Older Americans in our community.

Mayfest aims to educate seniors on issues they face and provide resources for solving these issues. Over 20 vendors will be present to offer information, services and free gifts to seniors attending. Blood pressure and vision screening will be available free of charge.

The media is invited to join in the festivities and celebrate Older Americans Month with HACA. President and CEO James Hargrove and Community Director Sheila Lowe will be available for interviews along with HACA residents. Mayfest includes entertainment, lunch, information booths, local vendors booths and enormous fun.
