The Housing Authority of the City of Austin is committed to providing a safe environment for all employees, residents and others that may work, visit or enter our facilities. The objective of the Safety Committee with support of the safety/risk coordinator is to prevent accidents and minimize their consequences, as well as to reduce the frequency and severity of injuries. Trainings are provided throughout the year to include all departments. HACA makes every effort to provide an environment that is free from any recognized or potential hazard.
